Baby it's cold outside

Well, I don't know if you can tell, but when we took Kristin and Mark's photos today, it was in the 40s. But lucky for Kristin and Mark they have love to keep them warm!

Today I tested out a Canon 1D Mark II. I think I'm leaning toward the 5D, but we'll see. Most of you reading this probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but that's ok. My photography peeps know what I'm talking about!

Tomorrow morning I hit the road for engagement photos, and Monday I have graduation portraits for one amazing Gator! It's a busy weekend!

Yes, Deere

Thank goodness for the John Deere! This was the only way we could keep little Sam happy. He loves riding on the Gator! Here is a photo of the Carden family, coming to a Christmas card near you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The family took a break from eating turkey to photograph the Carden Family. Little Sammy is over a year old and is just adorable. We got a lot of cute pictures of the Cardens (plus their doggies) on a farm in Florida. More photos to come!

Well, the editing process has just begun! Lindsey + Garrett's wedding was a lot of fun. Only in the South would there be a Marine dancing the Macarena with a beer in hand (person shall remain nameless). Thankfully it didn't rain (what do weathermen know anyway?). Fall is here

What a beautiful day today! The weather was great... it was the perfect fall day in Gainesville. I took a trip down to Micanopy, Fla., to this great family farm called Coon Hollo. It was awesome, and I can't wait to go again next year. It's the perfect family photo location. I'll be posting photos soon of the adorable Caden.

I think I may have stumbled upon a great location for fall family photos in Micanopy, Fla. It would make a great family outing and for memorable photos!

New design project

This week I'm beginning to work on a Web site design for a new company based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. I'll post screen shots as the project progresses.

And the runner-up is...

For a couple days, this was going to be Kathleen and Frank's wedding invitation. A few days later, Kathleen found something else she liked better and so she and I worked on a new design. We're still working on it, but we'll share it when it's done!

Is it just me or do these flowers look like they are made from Play-Doh? This was taken at Morikami Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Fla., using a f/2.8 100mm macro.
