One of my former students (and dear friend) got hitched on Saturday. The ceremony took place at our church and the reception (which was BEAUTIFUL) was in downtown Gainesville. Here are a couple of favorites from the wedding.
The rainy weather in Tallahassee for the Murphy maternity photo shoot really limited us on what we could do, so we ended up taking all of the pictures inside. They came out cute, though, so that's all that matters.
Well, with the engagement photos being postponed, it has opened this weekend up for a different job--maternity portraits. Ashley and I have been contacted to photograph the mommy-to-be in Tallahassee this weekend. I'll be posting this photo session soon!
Paging Ken Paves! A bride-to-be had a disasterous hair cut (have yet to see it, but she hates it), so upcoming engagement photos have been postponed until her tresses are long again. No worries! We are flexible with scheduling, though we wish we knew how to fix a bad hair did.
Well, the weather forecast for this weekend wasn't looking too good for the Pai-Hwang engagement photo shoot on Honeymoon Island. So the bride-to-be decided to move the photo shoot to June 21. We are all very excited about spending the day in Tampa and taking lots of cute pictures! I'm also excited to use one of my new toys--a special lens filter to enhance close-up shots.
One afternoon I was sitting with my Nana and she was showing me some family photos I had not ever seen. She showed me pictures from her wedding day, my Nana and Papa smiling and laughing as they left the church. She also had photographs of my great- and great-great grandparents’ weddings, with the Victorian Era so evident in the bride’s gown. This struck a chord in my heart about the power of photography.
A photograph captures a moment in time, forever preserved for future generations to admire. My goal as a photographer--whether it’s a wedding or family portrait--is to creatively capture special milestones for families to treasure forever.
In addition, cmd graphics can make your engagement announcements and wedding invitations as well as create a one-of-a-kind scrapbook to hold your special memories.
