All good things sparkle
I'm editing Kathleen + Frank's second part of their engagement session. This is a nice shot of the prized hairpin that Kathleen searched high and low for! We are hoping to squeeze in another session before the big day in March.

Yee-haw!
I've just finished the brochure for the Florida Gators gymnastics camp. They put on a great camp for artistic gymnasts. Check out the brochure I designed and read more about the camp.
Go Gators!

My Papa
Well, it's been a while since I've blogged.
My Papa passed away Dec. 15, 2009, and I've been spending a lot of time with my Nana. I've taken on a rather large project--scanning family photos and restoring them. We found so many awesome photos in Papa's office of the Dye family. The above photo is of Papa when he was in the U.S. Navy. He served for three years and was stationed in Japan and Korea during the end of World War II. It's been fun looking through all of the photos, and we have yet to put a dent in the boxes and boxes of photographs.
It only makes me realize how much I really love being a photographer. I love documenting happy and momentous occasions for families. I'm glad that I have so many happy memories and photos of my Papa.

Baby it's cold outside
Well, I don't know if you can tell, but when we took Kristin and Mark's photos today, it was in the 40s. But lucky for Kristin and Mark they have love to keep them warm!
Today I tested out a Canon 1D Mark II. I think I'm leaning toward the 5D, but we'll see. Most of you reading this probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but that's ok. My photography peeps know what I'm talking about!
Tomorrow morning I hit the road for engagement photos, and Monday I have graduation portraits for one amazing Gator! It's a busy weekend!
